Everyone was laughing and having a great time before I took the picture. This is typical of the indigenous culture, they are very solemn for pictures. Juana, Victor's wife is teaching me Quiche - she speaks little Spanish so I am learning her language!Maria

We noticed that recently too (the somber picture thing). Kinda gives people a weird impression! :)
I guess you and Johnny just sucked all the joy out of this family before you took the picture. Suuuurrree they were laughing and having a good time before you took the picture.
I saw Steve and Beth two weeks ago. We went to NC for my daughter's wedding shower/party sponsored by Brandon's parents. Steve and Beth said they got to see you guys a few times; but they spent all their time and LBN working at the compound.
